Sweet Jacket
So this first shirt may be a little familiar if you keep up with my blog. i posted a bit ago about the same one in black with orange ink. Both are reprints i got on ebay but this one fits better and unlike a lot of people i know, i love a white shirt so here's one from one of my favorite bands ever. Again...i didn't make this shirt up so i had no say in the phrase on the back. If it offends you, fuck off, it's a damn shirt.

I love a good shark shirt, and this is a damn good shark shirt. I love shirts like this where there is no explanation. I imagine this being sold somewhere advertising something like the newest ride at Wild Water Kingdom or some shit. However, it's just a shark ripping through a shirt. Sweet and to the point. Got this at the thrift store.

This is a "throw-back" if you will to the days of ordering t-shirts from the pyf or something. A punk classic. Found this at the thrift store the other day and had to get it. It's a little big but i'll make it work.

This next one is from an aerobics club i used to belong to in Cali. I was much furrier back then and sported a Reebok shirt much more than i'd like to admit. (i'm the one on the left)

This is where i attended college.

Shirt Russell
First of all... some non shirt related shit.
check out my friend Alejandro's blog. It's an illustrated update of his life day by day. He also had a radio show on 91.7 WKDU wednesday nights so peep that. Here's the blog http://www.mynameisalejandro.com
At this is hardcore fest this year, i ran into Steve from this band. They're called Hoodratz and we played with them a few months ago in a Philly basement. despite the funny name, they were pretty fucking awesome. Also, Steve looks like a young Belushi, which rules. Anyway, he gave me this shirt and although i cant wear it to work, it's still pretty sweet. the back is one of the best statements ever made...EVER. Check them out at www.myspace.com/hoodratznj

So if you haven't heard yet, this band is made up of other awesome bands and they have a demo out. i got the cdr demo, and tape demo in the mail with this for like $13 all together which is pretty sweet. Gotta respect a tape demo. Also this is probably one of my new favorite shirts i own right now. I love shirts with photos printed on them. This one came out great.
i really suggest you check out their songs at: http://www.myspace.com/psychedtodie
But most importantly you should buy their shit. Apparently they're out of tapes so you can get the cdr demos or a shirt.
"To place an order, EMAIL: chris_frump@yahoo.com AND tell him what you'd like. If you want a shirt, be sure to specify the size and color you want so he can make sure it's available because alot of the shirts are in very limited supply. Also, please specify where the package will be shipped in your email because the prices listed don't include shipping. Thanks alot."

Birth, School, Blog, Death
So this weekend was a pretty great one. The pop punk band i play guitar in had 2 shows. Friday night was in Wilkes Barre PA so that was cool cause i got to hang out with the Title Fight dudes and get pizza with sweet sauce. Shit was incredible. Then Friday night we drove to Drew and Sarah Peabottom's for Bottomfest '08. We played with a bunch of bands including The Ergs, The Slotcars, The Sheckies, Project 27, and some weird Canadian band called The Hamiltons. This first shirt is from them. It's just a Ramones rip off, very much like the band. They were kind of dicks cause they showed up really late into the show and left right after but they DID come all the way from Canada so i got the shirt anyway.

This next one is an Ergs shirt that is very similar to most of the other Ergs shirts you've probably seen except for the back. I came up with the idea while talking to Mikey about how great Metallica is and next thing i know...they're printed up.
So here it is. The original says "Birth, School, Metallica, Death" because that's how life should be obviously.

I'm Young H.O., Raps' grateful dead. Back to take over the globe, Now break bread.
I'm back! It's been a long long time and i have a fair explanation...i think??
First I'd like to thank anyone/everyone who has been reading my blog since i started it. I never had any interest in blogging before i started this...thought it was a good idea and went with it. Through searching Google, I've been noticing that a good amount of people read it. Apparently it's been written about in The Guardian which is a paper in the UK. It's also been reviewed on blog websites with some positive feedback about it. So with all that said here's my story...
Shortly after my last entry, I got rushed with an insane amount of shirts at once and I guess I got busy and had to put it off for a little bit. Well...a little bit turned into a lot and I probably got 30 something shirts since. I'll be posting about my favorites out of all of them and after this entry I'll be making more regular posts again with frequent updates. Thanks for reading!
The first shirt I'm posting about only seems appropriate and means that none of these are in any kind of chronological order or anything.
This is a t-shirt design I made for the None More Black reunion that was in July 4th, 2008 at Deep Sleep in Philadelphia. The front is a picture of LL Cool J with CPM's (the guitarist and good friend of mine's) face photoshopped onto his body. The rings on his finger spell out NMB for None More Black, and the back says "Don't Call It A Comeback". Fuckin' clever right?
However, i am not the brains behind the design, just the one to make it happen. I figured the back of the shirt was appropriate for the long absence of my blog...much like the absence of the band. Also, LL rules.

This is a shirt I wanted in some form for a long time. It's of the band Embrace who was Ian Mackaye's old band. Probably my favorite band he's done besides Minor Threat. Bought it for $7 or something from Bob of Let Down.

So this summer I discovered that I have a weird obsession with pigs. I draw them a lot for some reason and decided i'd like more shirts with pigs on them. I guess it all goes back to the fact that my mom collected anything that had to do with pigs since i was a little kid. Now i think i have her obsession and it's really fucking weird. anyway, this is a Piggly Wiggly shirt. I didn't realize it until i drove by one somewhere. Totally sweet logo. Got it from a Village Thrift in Jersey.

Justin Bender is a great great dude. this is his one man band. It was at one point a full band and now I'm not positive what his plans are with it. He gave me this shirt at a show and it rules bigtime.
so go check out http://www.myspace.com/ukebox

One of my good friends, Andrew went to Morocco for 6 weeks and brought me back this awesome shirt. the collar fits a little weird like a lot of shirts from other countries fit. it's sewn in really tight and is kind of thick. i'm gonna make it work though cause the artwork is so great.

DAMN GINA!!!!
My friend Brendan sent me a text message one day that said he was giving me a shirt he found that day. He was at the Buffalo Exchange and came across this bad boy (not a reference to the movie "bad boys" or "bad boys II" starring Martin Lawrence) and decided that i needed it. I have to agree with him. What a great shirt of a great man from a great show. Later on I spoke to a friend who works at Buffalo Exchange and she said the kid who brought them in to the store made a whole bunch of them and sold them there. I think she said they sold out pretty quickly so i'm glad i got my hands on one in time.

When i was real young my dad went to a flea market and said he saw this shirt but it was an original probably. So he said he was gonna get it but it looked too big. Ever since then, I didn't think it existed but eventually it turned up on ebay a few times. This one is a reprint but still way sweet. A little short too but you can't mess with that classic logo. One of my favorite bands of all time. As for the back...hey, i didn't make the damn shirt.

This was a super lucky ebay find because as usual...i look for Elvis Costello shirts on ebay and for the most part, they're very expensive. This one was from outside the US and ended up being 20 bucks plus shipping. For an original EC shirt, that's pretty good. A little big but not enough to look weird and it's also super soft too.

All i have to say is go to http://www.myspace.com/seasick and buy their new record. You will not be dissapointed. Definitely in my Top 10 of 2008 so far.

Finally...a Kill 'Em All shirt. However it's too big on me. The measurements on ebay said it was right but it ended up being a lot bigger. I think i'll use the front for a backpatch. The back is the same as like...50% of my other metalica shirts (the skeleton in the electric chair picture) so i didn't think i needed to take a picture of that. It's a size medium from the 90's...uhh...great record. I need to get a master of puppets shirt still too. maybe next entry.

This is a shirt I bought from my friend Chris at the punk rock flea market earlier this summer. He does a lot of show flyers and stuff in the city and does a lot of screening and stuff. Great dude, great shirt design. Angry ass burger!

So I got this down the shore hoping to avoid getting ripped off like I did in Las Vegas. (see http://crucialheadache.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html) So i ordered a long sleeve and it was like $17 or something. No big deal. I go outside, put it on, and the sleeves were HUGE and puffy. i had to cut them off to avoid ridiculous marshmallow man arms and this is how it looks. still fits a little weird but such a great design. Iron Ons on the boardwalk are great and highly recommended if you want a sweet shirt not a lot of people you know will have. Also looks great while driving a harley

This is a shirt I designed for a band i play guitar in called What Happened?. I guess the drawing could be of me but i wasnt thinking that when i did it originally and besides the dude eating pizza, it doesn't make much sense. Check out some music at http://www.myspace.com/whathappenedmusic

Got this at a show we (lighten up) played in Doylestown with Paint it Black. Probably the best Public Enemy rip off i've seen. Not much else to say about this... It's printed on an American Apparel shirt and Paint it Black rules? That about sums it up. NEXT SHIRT...

This is a shirt I got from my friend Amos. He plays guitar and sings in the band Tenement. http://www.myspace.com/tenementwi
They're seriously incredible and criminally underrated. I really suggest you check them out right now. stop reading this stupid blog and go listen to their songs. I suggest "City Bus" first. It's great. I was on tour with Lighten Up and I was hanging out with Amos while they were screening these. The shirt artwork is of pictures of Amos, Jesse (their bass player) and Jad (their friend) from their I.D.'s. Definitely check them out. You won't regret it.

This is yet another t-shirt I designed for a band. It's for the Loved Ones/Hold Steady tour this summer. Dave Hause the singer/guitar player from The Loved Ones more or less told me to make something up so this is what i came up with. A giant cartoon hot dog, holding an American flag and a bottle of Yuengling. The most recent Loved Ones record is called "Build and Burn" so i thought of calling it the "Grilled and Burned Tour" the back was Dave's idea which is just a rip off of a Hold Steady song. In the song they say "we're gonna build something this summer". i had to google that to understand the reference when Dave told me about it actually. My only problem with this shirt is the spelling of "GRILLE" on the back. I'm almost 99% positive it's supposed to be "Grill" but Dave insisted the E was in there. Either way it was definitely awesome to design their summer tour shirt. Hope they sold a lot of them.

This is an Anthrax shirt I got on ebay for fairly cheap from what i remember. It's in great condition so i'm not sure if it's just an unworn original or an old screen on a newer shirt. Either way, it's really comfortable and I don't think i've ever seen it before. It's from the Persistence of Time Tour. Great record although i prefer Among the Living.

?

Take HC legend Tony Erba, a chain and a backing band and you have Cheap Tragedies. We played with them at This is Hardcore Fest yesterday and for the 2nd year in a row and were definitely my favorite of the weekend yet again this year. Check them out online and buy their records. If they happen to be playing a show near you and you don't go, you're a dumb dumb.
http://www.myspace.com/CheapTragediesHC

Got this Tribe Called Quest shirt at a thrift store in the kids' section. It's and Adult Small and fits perfectly. It's also a rip off of the movie Wild Style which i know nothing about besides the fact that i saw it in a store for sale or something. If you don't have their record "the low end theory" you're missing out on a classic album.

Got this on ebay. Doesn't need much of an explanation. Great album obviously and one of my favorite record covers of all time. "I've had it" may be one of my favorite hardcore songs ever as well.

I made this on some website where you can pay about $18 to get anything you want printed on a shirt. It's decent quality and didn't take too long to receive in the mail. The front is a drawing i did of Gene Simmons eating a slice of pizza and the back just says Crucial Headache. I'm thinking of getting a whole bunch of these printed so if you're interested in one, please let me know so i can start making them. Sorry for the blurry picture of the back of the shirt.

This is an R. Crumb shirt i bought at Urban Outfitters. Normally i wouldn't pay as much as i did for this on a shirt but R. Crumb is one of my heroes so i kind of splurged on it. I was kind of bummed this was for sale there but at the same time, i'm glad i finally got an R. Crumb shirt. If you're not familiar with his artwork i really suggest you google him or something cause he's the greatest illustrator of all time and has a lot of awesome things to say.

This is a shirt of one of my favorite bands/albums of all time. I recently saw this on ebay but it was an original. This is an obvious reprint but still really sweet. Dag Nasty was a melodic hardcore band from DC that started in 85. "Can I Say" and "Wig Out At Denko's" are easily their best two records and for those two alone make them one of my favorite bands ever. The back of the shirt just says "wig out" which makes me laugh for some reason everytime i read it.

This is a Lighten Up shirt concept I had for a while but never followed through on until recently. I had my friend BK draw up this logo i drew because i liked the way he writes. So after he wrote "lighten up" a million times, and drew the lightbulb a million times, i took them home and picked one of each to use for the shirt. originally the words were the only thing on the front and the lightbulb would be on the back but our friend Jeremy (http://www.jumpstartrecords.com/screenprinting/about.shtml) who prints our shirts, suggested we do it like this. i gotta say, i'm glad we went with this one cause it looks great. simple but effective. I dont know...i just think it rules. Thanks BK, and Jeremy if you're reading.

Last but not least...This baseball t given to me by my friend Eric. He's been telling me about it for about a year now and finally gave it to me this weekend. It's super comfortable and fits absolutely perfectly. From what I can tell by the obvious is that this is a 1984 Van Halen world tour shirt. Not too sure what the significance of the top hat dude on the back is but i dig it.
Hope these entries weren't too lame. For now on They'll be much more consistent and less to read i hope. Thanks for checking back and KEEP checking back for more updates soon.
thanks!

"It's been a long, a long time coming, But I know a change gonna come"
First of all, I'd like to make an apology to people who normally read this blog for not updating in a while, and sorry for making this one so many entries but my computer has been dead for a few days because my power cord broke so now that i got a new one, here are some new shirts to enjoy or hate, whichever you choose. either way, thanks for checking out the blog.
This Anthrax shirt should have been in the last entry because i've had it for a few weeks now but it was in the wash or something when i made the last entry. It's a reprint of a State Of Euphoria shirt which i also have a back patch of. The artwork on the back is by Mad Magazine artist Mort Drucker, which really rules because i'm a huge fan of Mad Magazine. Also just got Anthrax - Persistence Of Time on cassette from the thrift store yesterday. Sweet Find. Got this shirt on ebay, it's a size small.

This is a shirt from the band Cheeky (http://www.myspace.com/cheekyli). One of my new favorite bands. The drawing is by Kate Wadkins, the bass player and it's of a character from the movie Over The Edge. I recently went on a weekend tour with Cheeky and Screaming Females (http://www.myspace.com/screamingfemales) who still holds the title for "greatest band in the land" by Perry Magazine (does not exist). Over the whole weekend I heard a lot about the movie and when we got home i decided to buy it on ebay. After watching it 3 times I can honestly say it was worth the hype. Great movie, great lines, and stars a super young Matt Dillon who ruled. At the bottom of the drawing it says "grow fins, turkey" which is a line from the movie and a Cheeky song title. I Highly recommend checking out this band and downloading their demo for free at http://quoteunquoterecords.com.

I saw Stymie (http://www.myspace.com/stymietx) play recently at Fuck Mountain in New Brunswick NJ and after hearing some hype about them, I can honestly say they live up to it. Stymie is from Texas and shares members or maybe one member of the band ANS. They play pop punk but not like normal pop punk you're probably used to. Their punk as fuck pop punk. More attitude and aggression than most pop punk bands. Please, for your sake, get their 7". It fucking rules. As for this shirt, I don't even know what to say...umm...i don't know what's going on there. Check them out though.

This next shirt is from a good friend of mine, BK. He has one of the best shirt collections i've seen in a while. It includes many 90's shirts that i only wish i owned. However he only rocks an XL so they'll never fit me but im gonna get this one taken in or at least have someone sew the design onto another shirt for me. Considering I was born in 1985, i did not know much about MOVE. But after hearing about it and doing some research, I have come to the realization that it is completely insane. please read more here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MOVE

I found this Devo shirt on ebay. It's a bootleg but it shows some artwork from the inside of the Devo album "new traditionalists" and i'm sure was in others. It's a drawing of a button they sold for a while. Their merch catalog came printed inside the record sleeve. Found this shirt on ebay. Booji Boy would be proud.

Trial By Fire was a band from DC. Melodic Hardcore on Jade Tree Records. Definitely an under looked album in my eyes. Their drummer Mike is in The Loved Ones now. Buy this album though, you will not be disappointed. http://jadetree.com/releases/product/JT1070
Got this shirt on ebay as well.

The next two Metallica shirts were purchased on ebay. My old computer repair guy printed a bunch of the 2nd ones when he worked for this printing company. He sold a shit load of them to someone on ebay and now i came across one. However i think he sold the screens too because they were shipped from Thailand or Japan or something crazy like that. They're printed on this almost greyish, faded black colored tagless tees. I really like that they look old but not in an annoying Target style way. They're super comfortable and not too common. Stoked about these. I think i have like 10 Metallica shirts now. Shit, that is so unnecessary.

Played with this band Friday night and we're playing with them again on the 25th with Paint it Black and Cloak/Dagger. They're called Stay Sharp, as you can see. Listen to them at http://www.myspace.com/staysharprules. The myspace address does not lie.

Umm it's a dog printed on a Screen Stars Tee. Can't deny that. Got it last night at a thrift store. Super comfy and simple design. Gotta love dem dogs.

Dumbest shirt that makes me laugh everytime i see it in a thrift store. This time however, it was my size so i had to get it. So dumb and Farside-like but I enjoy it. Thanks for reading and please check back soon for more shirts. Hasta la vista Dude.

I Think I'm a Clone Now
After work today, I had a sudden and normal urge to go to some thrift stores. So i went to The Salvation Army first. First I found a sweet Bart Simpson hat which I didn't take a picture of though, I probably should. But after that i found this great shirt. Now I'm not sure that i've even seen this whole movie considering the last recollection of actually seeing any of it was about 6th grade in my science class. It's labeled as being an XL but i guess it's a child's XL. Sweet shirt either way.
Next I found this tuxedo t shirt. It's a long sleeve which was a plus in my book. It also has white trim around the bottom of the sleeves to give the effect of a white button up under the tuxedo jacket. Now I've seen a billion tuxedo t shirts in my day but this one is a step above the rest. It fits perfectly, it's not too thin, it's super soft AND has to be from the 80's which was a great time for t-shirts. Definitely happy with the shirt finds today.

I ordered this shirt recently on ebay and finally got it today. Now a lot of people i know are not into this band at all but you really can't deny "too fast for love" that album is just incredible. This however is from the Shout at the Devil tour. It may just be a reprint from an old screen but the print is a little off and printed on an old shirt so maybe it is an original shirt...who knows? It's sweet and a little small but I'll make it work.

I guess I'm breaking my own rules here but i also got these today and as Ice Cube would say..."today was a good day" for thrift stores and Perry that is. Seriously...Weird Al, Johnny Cash, and LL ?? YOU CANT BEAT THOSE FINDS!
God Bless America dudez. Let's get a black dude or a chick in office next year. Or a black chick even. That's be sweet. Maybe Beyonce could run or something. I'd vote for her for sure. Peace dogz.

Burrow Owl Burrow Owl Burrow Owl Burrow Owl Burrow Owl Burrow Owl Burrow Owl Burrow Owl
This first shirt is a classic Dead Milkmen design. I've always wanted this shirt and when I was younger and first got into them i opted for the Big Lizard in my Backyard shirt which I still have and rules. However this is a classic milkmen shirt. If you're not familiar with the Dead Milkmen, you must be living a sad boring life. Not only are they one of the greatest bands to come from Philadelphia, but they are one of the most underrated punk bands ever. I can't even fathom how they wrote most of those songs. Seriously incredible. I also just bought the new Low Budgets album from Itunes. The Low Budgets have Joe from The Dead Milkmen and write some fucking sweet songs. The new album is great too. I wasn't sure how'd they 'd top " go for broke" but so far this new one has a lot of promise. Can't wait to see them again. Got this shirt from ebay. Ebay is my thrift store for the winter. The thrift stores are holding back on T-shirts during the winter cause they need to make room for the sweaters, and long sleeves and jackets and all that boring stuff. So I'm really looking forward to this good weather. Who said global warming was a bad thing? If we're talkin T-shirts here...let the global warming commence!

This next shirt is a Flying Coffin Brand I bought from Deep Sleep (http://deepxsleep.blogspot.com) in Old City. Deep Sleep is like a boutique clothing store. At least i'm pretty sure that's what they consider it. Anyway, flying coffin has some sweet shirts every once and a while and this is one of them. Flags burning? hell yeah. FTW or some shit. It's sweet as hell.

I've been trying to find this shirt in my size for a long long time. Green Day's dookie is one of the best albums i've ever owned. I dont think i know anyone who dislikes it. I first got it when I was in 3rd grade. My parents would take me to South Street which for all you non-philly dudes/ettes was a happenin place for a long time. You could go there and get some decent eats, and fulfill all of your punk rock needs in one trip. I remember the one day we went and I really really really wanted this album on cassette. So I finally saw it in the Tower Records that used to be on South Street. We're in the car leaving and it wasn't in my hands. I was sooooo bummed. Now I forget if my dad ran back in to get it or if he already had it and tricked me but somehow I got it and we listened to it the whole ride home. I wore the shit out of that tape when I got it. I used to redraw the artwork from the album and hang it on my door in my bedroom. The fact that it was called DOOKIE only made my love for them grow...especially at that age. This is definitely an album that never got old for me and has had a huge impact on my life musically. And when I realized there was a secret track on it I was so stoked. I had never even heard of something like that before. I mean, at the time i listened to a steady diet of Erasure and The Boss, so as you can see this was a huge deal for me. Also as a side note...Erasure and the boss still rule. Sorry for the blurry picture of the back of the shirt. The close up is decent so you get the idea.

Now I've been seeing this Metallica shirt on ebay for a while now. It's Black album era Metallica and super creepy looking. This is a straight up photograph of an old dude printed on the shirt. It looks insane especially in person. I've really wanted this for a while as well but never found my size until my friend linked me to it not realizing i've wanted it for a while now. It's a size Medium but because of the age, it fits perfectly like a small. However Metallica brand shirts are a little wild in the neck area and the collar is a little big but i guess it's not terrible.

I think i paid more than i should have for this shirt. It wasn't an insane amount but i should probably limit myself a little more often. Anyway this is a sweet shirt nonetheless. Simple design and it looks bad ass. I know a lot of people think Metallica started sucking after And Justice but those people need to get real for a minute. The Black album fucking rules and you know it. Not my favorite by any means but not nearly as bad as people make it seem. Also a Metallica brand Medium but fits like a small with the same collar annoyance but it's all good. Thanks a lot for reading the blog, and feel free to leave comments. You don't have to be a member or whatever. I really enjoy any feedback possible and the fact that you're reading such a mindless blog from a mindless dude rules. Much apreesh. Also, this summer should have a lot of promise for new shirts so keep checking back. I update about once a week or so.

Hoof Arted?
The first two shirts in this entry were picked up at the Buffalo Exchange on Friday for about $9 each. My friend Kara works there and told me she was hoping I'd be in because these two beauties were for sale. Both smalls and super sweet. As a side note, my Metallica shirt collection is growing quickly. I have 2 on the way.

I first heard of Daniel Johnston from the Kids soundtrack years and years ago when I got it on tape from a thrift store. I heard the Daniel Johnston songs and wasn't sure what to think. Next thing i know, years later the dvd came out about him. It took me forever to finally get around to seeing it but when i did , i was blown away. I instantly started getting his albums and I got hooked. If for some reason, you haven't seen this movie, please do yourself a favor and buy it. I also just recently saw Daniel Johnston live for the first and possibly last time . It was one of the greatest shows I've ever seen. If you have the chance to go see him, please do. I ordered this shirt from the Daniel Johnson website a while ago but they sent me a medium instead of a small, so i just re bought it and i'm gonna sell the medium to my friend. This is the small. Hopefully more exciting shirts on the way!

"I wanna be your shirt, so I can hug you while you work. I wanna be your wife, so you can beat me every night."
I don't think anyone cares what brand shirts these are but if you do have a question, feel free to post a comment asking one.
Here is a Modern Lovers shirt I got on ebay. It's an obvious reprint but a great logo and an even better band regardless. I highly suggest checking out their albums.

This is another ebay find. it says "PIGS IS BEAUTIFUL". What really made me want this was that Captain Spaulding wore a shirt in House of 1000 Corpses that said the same thing and I thought it was pretty great. So that pretty much convinced me to get it.

Nothing fancy about this next one. Got it from a thrift store in Jersey. I like sharpies and it's a simple design with sweet silver ink. That's all I have to say about thaaaaat.

This is my new favorite shirt. I don't get it but It rules. Seriously in my top 3 shirts now. If you get the saying, please comment me about it. This was a very short entry, by the way because I'm tired as hell and I have work tomorrow. Goodnight and thanks for reading!

"I got a new shirt, for school yesterday and my mom said i looked real handsome in it"
Well it has been a while since i've updated with any T-shirts. A little less than a month to be exact, but GOD DAMN did i obtain many a shirt since my last inquiry. I also included a personal favorite at the end of the blog, so enjoy that when you get to it.
I've gotten a lot of good responses about the blog lately and apparently a lot of people are reading it so thank you for checking it out and please tell anyone you think may be interested in it to check it out. Also feel free to leave any comments anytime. You don't have to be a member or anything to leave one so please enjoy this entry, hopefully i'll update more frequently again. Thanks!

These first three were ordered online at punkstuff.com . The site has some awesome horror movie shirts that are hard to find anywhere else. I'm assuming that's because they make them themselves. I've seen plenty of shirts for these movies but not these exact ones. Anyway, they also have some punk band shirts too so check it out because the prices are more than fair and the shirts look sweet. These three are all size small, Fruit of the Loom brand. The first one is from the movie DEAD ALIVE which was also known as BRAINDEAD which is easily my favorite Peter Jackson flick and also one of the most gory, bloody, pus-filled movies ever. I don't suggest eating anything while watching it because you will puke everywhere. Shit rules.
This next one is Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre 1. The 2nd is one of my favorite movies of all time but i never see a shirt from that movie that I really love besides an original promo shirt that i can only find on ebay like once a year. Anyway, Leatherface is probably one of my top 3 favorite horror movie "bad guys" if you will. I mean, you've never seen Jason or Michael Meyers cut someones skin off and wear it as a mask right? Fuck no. Dude is badass.

The final long sleeve i got from punkstuff.com is this Evil Dead shirt. Evil Dead is another great great horror movie. However, it is not THAT gory or scary. More of an overall great, classic horror movie. Evil Dead 2 however, is my favorite. (sorry the first picture of it is a little blurry)

This is a shirt from a band called War Pigs from Doylestown PA. They play some sweet hardcore that's influenced by some sweet rock bands including the almighty Black Sabbath... obviously. They put on a good show and the singer, Dion is apparently bizarro me... Wacky D, if you will. So i promised Dion I would give him a shirt of mine once I seperated the ones I wanted and was willing to get rid of from the big count i did recently. He insisted that I get a war pigs shirt for the trade, so he gave me this. It's a size small Jerzees Brand. The front is a big white cross. I think you're supposed to wear it upside down or something but i could be wrong. On the back is a picture of Harry S. Truman with the War Pigs logo on his forehead, sticking with the "war pigs" theme. Thanks Wacky D. also check out http://www.myspace.com/warpigshc be sure to tell 'em Large Marge sent ya!

The next 3 shirts prove that i spend too much time in New Brunswick, NJ.
This first one if from a very good friend of mines band, Screaming Females. Now if you don't already know my obsession with this band, I'll spare you. Just check them out for yourself. http://www.myspace.com/screamingfemales
or check their blog at
http://screamingfemales.blogspot.com
This shirt is a size small Gildan heavyweight. The lead singer/guitarist in the band is Marissa and she drew this and all of their artwork. You can see HER blog here...
http://forgottengrin.blogspot.com
I also highly suggest seeing them as soon as you can. They put on a great show and you will either leave thinking you should never play guitar again or that you should start practicing a lot more. Check them out and you'll understand why.

This next shirt is another New Brunswick band called Zhenia Golov.
(http://www.myspace.com/zheniagolov) Also printed on a size small Gildan. I was playing a show with my band in York, PA and i recognized this girl there who happened to be wearing the NEXT shirt I have posted in this entry. So we got to talking and it turns out we've seen each other at a few shows in New Brunswick and know a lot of the same people. Her name is Chelsea and she is super cool and ended up trading me a Lighten Up shirt for this one. The other shirt they had was pretty cool too but the drawing on this one is just really really great. The singer/bass player, Rob's dad drew it and the design of it is just genius. I'd really like to see more artwork from him. check out the band though for sheezy.

This is a shirt from the New Brunswick force known as Fun Ghouls. It's a misfits tribute band that only plays once a year i think? I still haven't seen them but i hear they don't play much or at all anymore. My main man Fish is in the band though and he hooked me up with it. It's a size medium which is normally too big but im hoping this baby will shrink down to perry size. It's on a Hanes heavyweight 50/50 and hand screened from what i can tell. Great band name, great logo and all that too. Thanks Fish!
http://www.myspace.com/funghouls
If you're still reading...THANKS! This is a shirt from the band The Shemps from NY. We've played with them once and I've now seen them twice which isn't nearly enough. They are fucking sweet and i'm not sure why i haven't ordered the records yet but I'll get on that soon. Anyway, they play really rock n roll influenced punk and put on a great show. The dude in the band and I had to look for a shirt that would fit me out of what they had left. This is the closest we got. It's a size 14/16 Fruit of the Loom heavy cotton shirt that is too small but i'll figure somethin out. Not too much else to say about them i guess. Check them out though.
http://www.myspace.com/theshemps

Oh man...Rest In Pieces. Buy the album My Rage. That's all. Shirt rules. Size small.

My friend Eddie found this me outside somewhere? I forget but I'm a huge Beasties fan and this is from the Hello Nasty album. It's way too big/wide on me and is worn to shit. But it rules. The tag is ripped so I don't even know what size or brand it is but I always wanted this one when i was younger and the album came out but never got it because most of the shirts were only L, or XL. I do have 2 other shirts from this album but only one that really fits me. Eddie is a t shirt man like myself and a good friend. Thanks Eddie!

Now this is a very special item. It's an original Elvis Costello shirt from the Imperial Bedroom tour in 1982. Definitely in my top 10 as far as Elvis albums go. It cost me 51 big ones but it was well worth it. When I'm going to spend good money on a shirt, it has to be worth it and this one was for sure. It fits perfectly and is the only "official" elvis costello shirt i have. It's a "the knits" brand size small baseball T. It will definitely be in heavy rotation until it falls completely apart. If you don't listen to Elvis Costello, go out now and BUY "My Aim is True", "This Year's Model" and "Armed Forces" then everything after that. The dude is a music making machine and has more or less put out 1 or more albums a year since 1977. In my opinion there hasn't been a bad one yet.

Big Ups is a band from York PA, who I met about a year ago at a show Lighten Up played. They play Supertouch influenced hardcore and are pretty good at pulling it off. Check them out at http://www.myspace.com/bigups2007
The guitar player, Colby recently released a split 7" with Big Ups, and my band, Lighten Up out now on Upsidedown Records. Check out more info for it on their myspace along with their songs. But about the shirt...it's a size medium Jerzees brand and is a little big but there aren't any left so i'll take what i can get.

Will is the singer from the band Big Ups and he, knowing that I would have to write about it here, gave me this next shirt. It's actually pretty awesome because on a trip to Virginia once I searched everywhere for one of these that would fit me. So here's a size small Gildan "Virginia is for lovers" shirt. It's a classic design/slogan and a great one at that.
I've been searching for a coca cola shirt for a while now and this one caught my eye for sure. I got it on ebay and it is prettyyyyyy awesome. It's a size Large "Coca Cola" brand shirt which is pretty cool. It smells like laundry detergent big time since i haven't washed it yet but it's not a big deal. It's a little long which dissapointed me a little and the collar is a little weird, I'm just hoping it will fit better after I wash it. Also in case you were having any doubts...Coke is better than Pepsi. The only thing Pepsi had going for them was Ray Charles in their commercials but he died so if you're still drinking Pepsi, you got the wrong one baby...uh huh.

I got this recently at a thrift store. It's a shirt I used to own when i was younger which i find myself re buying a lot lately. Typical 90's shirt you've probably seen on a billion kids. It's an Adidas logo that says "the brand with the 3 stripes" under it. The back is the same reversed. Nothing too fancy or great, just something that reminded me of growing up which is a nice feeling when it comes to T shirts. Adidas brand, size small.

AND NOW FOR THE GRAND FINALE!
This is my Bar Mitzvah shirt. The time in a Jewish boy's life when he finally becomes a man. This was a special day for me because I made mad dough and read from some gnarly scrolls. Actually it's just a big accomplishment in a jewish dude's life. The other two were just major bonus'. If you're not familiar with a Bar Mitzvah, a lot of them have a theme at the afterparty. Mine was The Beatles. I was a huge Beatles fan when i was younger and I wanted to do something cool for the shirts that hasn't really been done by any of my friends who were all having bar/bat mitzvahs around the same time. So we went to this airbrush place (RIP the fad of getting shirts airbrushed) that my dad's friend he grew up with owned. We thought of a bunch of ideas and this was the best one. As you can see it's the cover of Abbey Road with ME airbrushed in with The Beatles. They pretty much photoshopped the cover and airbrushed me in there. I was wearing some of my favorite clothing choices of that time in my life. An army jacket with khakis, and a ball chain necklace. The sign in board was the same but with more background and i had Doc Martens on. The shirts were made with some quality iron ons and we had all sizes unlike most bar mitzvahs where you show up and you have a large or nothin. This is a size Medium Jerzees brand shirt and definitely rare. If you see it in a thrift store somewhere grab that shit quick. It's selling faster than the original release of the Rubber Soul.
Thanks a lot for reading or skipping around this far in the blog. The next entries won't be as hectic cause I'll be updating more often hopefully. That means less shirts per read.
Please feel free to leave comments, complaints and all that stuff.
